In-addition to the spiritual formation and academic development of our students, Father James B Hay Catholic School also focuses on our commitment to educate the whole child. Within a supportive environment, we are working toward providing our students with the opportunity to engage in extracurricular activities that will help them acquire a solid sense of security, a positive self-image and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.
We help our students develop an understanding and appreciation for working together to achieve a common goal. Working together for a collective purpose is a life skill, one we encourage at FJBH. Because we believe every student is a gift, we help our students learn to recognize the talents and skills of all participants and share equally in a team’s accomplishments. When learning occurs in this type of environment, it helps the child grow intellectually, physically, emotionally/mentally, and socially, into a complete person.
